Pavel Zámyslický from the Ministry of the Environment will summarize the current situation in climate and energy policy

Ing. Pavel Zamyslicky, Ph.D. He studied heavy current electrical engineering and energy at Brno University of Technology and subsequently economics and energy management at CTU in Prague. In his diploma and dissertation, he dealt with the links between greenhouse gas emissions trading and investments in energy. Since 2005 he has been working at the Ministry of the Environment, where since 2007 he has held the position of Director of the Department of Energy and Climate Protection. He specializes in European and domestic climate and energy policy and its instruments, especially trading in emission allowances in the EU ETS. He is the Czech Republic's chief negotiator for international and European agendas related to climate policy.
